The Young Professionals Network was started by the National Association of REALTORS® to help young real estate practitioners become more business savvy by hosting regular networking events, communicating with other YPN members, and sharing tips and tricks. REALTOR® Magazine launched the Young Professionals Network (YPN) in 2006 as an outgrowth of the popular “30 Under 30” feature with the goal to help the younger generation of REALTORS® build a stronger link with the real estate industry and expand networking and business opportunities.
In 2017, Association President Adam Wilson founded the TCYPN Chapter to give REALTOR® Members, Affiliates, and the Community a way to connect and network through social, fundraising, educational, and other networking events catered to those young at heart professionals in Tuolumne County. In 2019, our membership grew to include Calaveras County REALTOR® Members and Affiliates and our YPN Mixers are done in both counties. We continue to look for new members to join us in our efforts to grow as a Young (at heart) Professionals Network.
Our YPN Members are comprised of those looking for more leadership opportunities, enjoy community involvement, and are eager to continue growing both personally and professionally. Although you must be at least 18 to join TCYPN there is no cutoff age as we want anyone who is young at heart and eager to get involved to join our chapter of YPN, come to any of our events or even join the committee as a voting member.
