Welcome to Government Affairs

Your Government Affairs Director (GAD) reports to the Board of Directors of the Tuolumne County Association of REALTORS®, via the Association Executive. Your GAD is an independent contractor position.

Primary objectives for your GAD

  • To advocate for property rights in Tuolumne County
  • To work to make the Association a “player” with elected officials, other key associations
  • and County and City staff
  • To develop local government and board opportunities for Association members
  • To assist the Chair of the Local Government Relations Committee and its members
  • To stay informed and communicate pertinent local government issues
  • To develop relationships with local elected officials and administrative staff and act as
  • liaison for Association members
  • To connect your Association with C.A.R. and N.A.R. on relevant government affairs issues
